Roses are red…

With Valentines Day fast approaching, i decided i would make up some poems which i could use in a home made card for my sweetheart! Now, those who know me, know i’m not ya typical girly girl,and romance makes me vom: but i wanted to show my partner just how much he means to me. So here goes;

Dear Valentine,
I love you coz u call my honey
I love you coz u think i’m funny
I love you coz u say im thin
(when i clearly have a double chin)
I love the way you back me up
When the kids decide to run amock
I love it that u bring me wine
I love u my dear valentine!

Roses are red,
and sometimes they’re white
Thanks for letting me stay
on the computer all night

Dear Valentine
You are so special in every way
You do very well in that game that u play
I really do think that u make a great night elf
I only wish that i looked like her myself..
Is it really necessary that she wear a bikini
i know her boobs are big and her waist teeny weeny
It’s really okay though, u know im just jokin’
now get off the computer & give me a …. hand with dinner 😉

Okay, well that is all i have come up with so far, but you get the jist! If i think of any more, i shall let you know!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Goodbye 2012, hello 2013!!

Howdy all!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Today is the 1st day of 2013! I am excited at the prospect that this year will be better than its predecessor.
2012 had its good points and it had its bad.

In the spirit of keeping 2013 positive and happy, i will just focus on the good times in this blog.

One great thing about 2012 ,for me, was meeting a friend for the first time that i had met online 2 years before. It was so nice to finally put a face to the name – not just a picture of a cute little dragon! lol!

*which leads me to mention my meeting of another online friend KAT – who i met in a chatroom about 10 years ago!!
-The reason we eventually got to meet, was due to our mutual friends Tash and Pete getting MARRIED! The wedding was absolutely beautiful and i was so honoured to be invited to such a wonderful event! *thanks guys xox

Another great thing about 2012- and my writer friends would agree – would be accomplishing a goal that i thought was way beyond my capability!
I completed a 50k novel for NaNoWriMo!

*for those who have no idea what that is- It stands for National Novel Writing Month. Basically, people worldwide take part in the online challenge of writing a novel of 50k words – a challenge which is really not that easy when you consider you need to write 1600 words a day to keep on track! (and with 3 kids running around, it was extra difficult)
BUT I DID IT!! I am so proud of myself 🙂

**just need to edit it now,and see if its good enough to ever get published 😛 we shall see!

One more great thing that happened in 2012 – My brand new nephew (my best friends son) was born on Christmas day! 5 minutes past midnight to be exact!
He was 3 weeks early,but he came out healthy and beautiful and my god, what a thick beautiful crop of dark hair does he have already!!
I got to meet him when he was 3 days old (had to travel 4 hours to go see them-but well worth it) – and i just couldn’t believe what a perfect little specimen he is! I wanted to keep him 😛

Luckilly for my besty- she knew that i didnt have the one thing (or rather 2 things)that her son needed, that prevented me from taking him home with me. (her boobs!) lol!!!!

I can’t wait to see him again! I hope 2013 brings many wonderful things and so many ‘1st’ experiences, for my bestfriend.

Well the weather is starting to warm up here- we’re expecting a few 40+ degree days- so i’m trying to prepare myself for those. My aircon will get quite the work out this summer 😛

Inside Outside

There is a rage inside that i keep dormant
It subsides amongst the shattered dreams of long ago
created by years of heartache and resentment
I am a vessel of hatred and seethe relentlessly
on the inside.

What you see is what i show you
A flawlessly cheerful disposition
A kindred soul searching for others
Hoping for a world as beautiful as it should be
On the outside

Why must i feel so torn in two
inside filled with sorrow and loathing
outside i am sunshine and glitter
If i could choose just one i would!
To be happy inside and out!
